The July 4th Summer Jubilee Celebration in Waynesboro has been an iconic event for 24 years. This year, due to the State Guidelines and the need for instituting public health mitigation measures for the protection of our community, the Summer Jubilee Board has decided the celebration will be postponed. This includes the Firecracker 5K, the daytime events and the fireworks. The Board will meet on July 7th to re-evaluate the situation. We’ll share updates on our website and on our Facebook Page, so be sure to follow us for the latest news.

We need your help to keep the celebration going strong!

Welcome to the official Waynesboro Summer Jubilee website! Here you will find information regarding this year’s event, including the entertainment schedule, 5K race registration, and event sponsors.

The Waynesboro Summer Jubilee is held annually to celebrate Independence Day. This year’s event will be held Saturday, July 4th 2020, in the area across from the Waynesboro Hospital. It is the 24th annual Summer Jubilee.

The Waynesboro Summer Jubilee is a patriotic festival held each summer in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. The celebration features a full day of free entertainment, patriotic exhibits and exciting activities for children and adults of all ages.

The day begins with a 1 Mile Kid’s Fun Run & 5K followed by a parade in the morning. The event offers live entertainment, food, drink, and craft vendors throughout the day, and concludes with the annual fireworks display at dusk.
