WE ARE MOVING TO A CHIP TIMING SYSTEM THIS YEAR!!
Specta Sport LLC uses a Jaguar Chip Timing system which allows them to bring world class service to Waynesboro. We will have the following new items this year:
- Overhead or side antennas (no mats needed)
- Real time results and reports
- Low cost disposable timing chips
- SMS Text Messaging to your cell phone of your race time
- Results “gazebo” with real-time results scroll continuasly on large-screen monitors
- Truss finish line

We look forward to working with Ken Getchall and company to put on a great race this year. We are continuing to work to make improvements to this great race and festive event!

Waynesboro, Pennsylvania
- We will be having a children’s 1 Mile Fun Run!
- Eligibility is for six (6) through twelve (12) years old
- You must be six years old by July 4th
- Start Times are as follows:
- 5K race @ 8:30 AM
- Childrens 1K race will start @ 8:00 AM
- Registration will be held:
- July 3rd from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- July 4th from 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM
(Registration will end promptly at 7:30 AM to be able to start the race on time.) - Registration table will be across from the Waynesboro Hospital
- Event will be held RAIN OR SHINE!
